Não acredito muito que a gata coma folhas dessa árvore. Tal como o vet disse, os gatos sabem escolher o que querem comer para ajudar na eliminação dos pêlos.
Quanto ao Huguinho, quando ele tiver mais autonomia para permanecer sózinho no jardim, é explicar-lhe cedo que aquela árvore é venenosa. Ele irá entender. Pelo menos comigo resultava quando me explicavam isso... risos

Eu sugiro que retire a planta e dê para alguém que não tenha cães, gatos e/ou crianças. Entrei nessa página justamente pesquisando sobre "espirradeira" porque recebi um e-mail de uma pessoa alertando sobre a planta, porque que sua gatinha morreu depois de comê-la. Vale lembrar que nem sempre estamos por perto para evitar que comam ou ver que comeram e correr para socorrê-los.
